The Police officer who allegedly shot and killed tie 26-year-old Maa Adwoa in the Ashanti region has been arrested.
Inspector Ahmed Twumasi, allegedly shot the woman after he had accused her of cheating.
The shooting incident occurred in Kumasi, in the Ashanti Region, on Thursday, 20th April 2023.
The Inspector is said to have shot the woman multiple times following an argument and fled the scene.
He had also fired shots to scare people from apprehending him on the day of the incident.
He was arrested at Sekyere, near Effiduase in the Ashanti Region as a result of a special Police operation.
He is currently in police custody and will be put before the court to face justice.
