Mr Elisha Debrah Odoom, Managing Director of Ghana Dock Labour Company, has warned Ghanaians not to listen to naysayers, particularly the NDC.
Mr Debrah Odoom, an NPP aspiring parliamentary candidate for Ajumako Enyan Essiam constituency, stated that the NPP government has done enough with the implementation of free SHS and the digitisation agenda.
He also stated that these policies, particularly the free SHS, will enlighten Ghanaians and, as a result, make life easier for the people.
He was optimistic Ghanaians would soon see the impact of the policy.
”Ghanaians will see the policy’s impact over the next ten years. Within the next ten years, we will have an educated population. Other policies, such as the digitization drive in the health sector, the economy, and other areas, have been implemented. The banking and trade sectors have all been digitised. This would facilitate people’s participation in the economic drive. It would ensure the inclusion of economic organisms at all levels.”
He went on to say that the NDC lacks a message, and as a result, ”they are going around peddling lies about this administration’s achievements. Former President Mahama is on a campaign trail, but he has yet to offer a single policy alternative to what the NPP has done”.
Meanwhile, he has advised delegates of the NPP to consider only competent and dedicated candidates for the parliamentary primaries so these individuals would win more seats for the party.
”Ghanaians want us to break the 8-year-jinx, and so as delegates, we have to elect candidates who would clinch victory for the party come 2024. They want us to continue with our good works, and we cannot disappoint them.”
