Kwasi Korang, a campaign team member of the Alan Kyerematen campaign team, says any other candidate aside from the former trade and industry minister would just be a presidential candidate for the NPP in the 2024 general elections.
He declared Alan Cash, as he is affectionately called, as the only candidate with the ability to break the 8-year jinx and pull massive support for the NPP in 2024.
”The ultimate is for Alan to be elected as the presidential candidate,” he said on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm’s Frontline. I would urge the delegates to exercise caution when selecting a candidate. He is the sole choice of delegates, grassroots activists, and Ghanaians in general. If you elect someone other than Alan Cash, that person will only be a presidential candidate, not the president.
A candidate other than Alan cannot break the 8-year jinx. We must vote for Alan. We should choose someone who is well-liked by Ghanaians. We want someone who can mobilise every single voter in 2024. We need someone who can be trusted.”
”If you want to break the 8 and have a candidate Ghanaians prefer but refuse to file that candidate, then you are not prepared for power,” he added. I would urge delegates not to be misled by party appointees who are selfish, greedy, and only interested in personal gain, thus pushing candidates who are not viable or capable”.
