Aspiring presidential candidate in the upcoming National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential primaries, Dr. Kwabena Duffour has raised questions over processes leading to the polls.
He has also written to the party demanding for the full register to be used for the polls.
It has also emerged that the Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC) has refused to take delivery of the ballot papers because the voter register is not ready to be accompanied with the ballot for proper accounting of the booklets
This website has also gathered that the printing press needs space and therefore asked that the ballot papers be removed.
Dr. Duffour’s campaign team has also wondered why 10 days to the election, and the voter register is not ready and delivered to any candidate.
He opined that the process is compromised (safety, procedure, and fair playing field) and free and fair election cannot be guaranteed.
