Napoli, after an impressive performance this season, has won the Italian Seria A title after 33 years.
This follows after a 1-1 away draw against Udinese at Dacia Arena on Thursday night.
Nigerian talisman, Victor Osimhen got the equalizer for Napoli in the 52nd minute of the game after Slovenian Sandi Lorvic have already put Udinese ahead by a lone goal.
It’s the third Seria A title in the history of the club, winning it in 1978, 1990 and 2023.
Luciano Spalletti at the age of 64 and 58 days has proven doubters wrong and becomes the oldest manager to win the Seria A title.
Napoli president De Laurentiis: “Luciano Spalletti will stay here. Our project will not stop here. It’s just the beginning”.
“We want to win again, and again, and again. And then there’s the Champions League!”, tells DAZN.
This happens to be Napoli’s first Seria A title after the legendary Diego Maradona era.
