Ghana Football Association President, Simon Kurt Okraku, has revealed that he and the executive committee have achieved beyond what was pencilled in their manifesto.
Speaking in an interview with Juliet Bawuah on Supersports TV, Kurt Okraku believes that he has overachieved in almost four years of being in charge of the FA.
“Normally, I would not want to even look at the manifesto because if it’s about ticking off the boxes on the provisions of the manifesto, l think we have achieved. I think we have done more beyond the manifesto. So if the things we have been able to deliver to our football people have been special and amazing”.
Kurt Okraku believes there is still work to be done after praising himself.
“That’s not to say that we are holy complete, that’s more work to be done for our game because l belong to the school of thought that for those football products that we enjoyed on TV from the European market, we should be in the position to deliver same for our in people in our Country and this is what inspires me a lot. Even though l would want to say we’ve done well, l still believe that there’s a lot more work that has to be done.”
GFA is expected to hold elections later this year, as the current executives will have completed their full tenure in October.
