Kurt Okraku, President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), says he has not been drawn to the election and has no knowledge of it, even though he has five months left on his four-year term.
The current executives’ time ends in October, and the Ghana Football Association will likely have elections in 2023.
Kurt Okraku told Juliet Bawuah on Supersports TV about his ambitions for a second term:
“First of all l don’t know whether the election is coming up and l have not started to think about elections yet”.
Kurt Okraku said his intention for his second term will be influenced by the mode of the people.
“What l will do is react exactly the way the people want”.
“I remember four years ago, l was asked the same question will Kurt Okraku contest for the election, and my answer has always been when the time comes, football will speak”. he added.
