According to reports, the Black Stars captain’s contract with Nottingham Forest will expire at the end of the season.
Ayew, who is now a free agent, will need to find a new team.
His contract with the club expires at the end of the 2022/23 season.
After departing Qatari giants Al Sadd in January, the footballer joined the English club on a six-month contract.
Nottingham Forest have stated that Ayew and five other senior players will not be returning for the 2023/24 season.
“Six senior players’ contracts have come to an end: André Ayew, Cafú, Jack Colback, Jesse Lingard, Jordan Smith, and Lyle Taylor,” wrote the club on their official website.
According to Transfermarkt, Dede Ayew made 13 appearances for the team as they maintained their Premier League status.
He will need to find a new club before the start of the following season. Everton were interested in him before he decided to join Nottingham in February.
During his time with Swansea City, the 33-year-old had a successful career. He also played for West Ham before going on loan to Fenerbache in Turkey.
Before moving to England, Ayew won the French Cup with Olympique Marseille.
The Black Stars of Ghana will engage the United States of America in an international friendly on October 17, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee.
The four-time African champions will use the match as a preparatory game for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Black Stars have played the United States at several international competitions, including three World Cup meetings.
