On Thursday, July 27, 2023, Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta will submit the Mid-Year Budget Review to Parliament.
Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, the Majority Leader of Parliament, announced this today on the floor of parliament.
“It is slated for Thursday, July 27, 2023. That’s the last Thursday of July and that is when we will have the mid-year budget review”, he announced.
The mid-year budget review is being presented in compliance with Section (28) of the Public Financial Management Act, 2016 (PFMA) Act 921.
It requires the finance minister to give a Mid-Year Review to parliament six months after the main budget for that fiscal year is presented.
