Albert Commey, a Ghanaian football administrator, has made a strong case for Kurt Okraku’s re-election as President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
Mr. Commey disagreed with those who harshly criticised Mr. Okraku and labelled him a failure.
He stated that, in contrast to all of Mr. Okraku’s negative reviews, he believes the man has outperformed expectations.
As a result, he wishes Okraku to be re-elected as GFA President so that he can continue his charitable work.
Albert Commey told Rainbow Sports that he believes Kurt Okraku is the best candidate for the job.
”This administration has done more than I expected. I’ll give them an eight and a half out of ten. Football administration appears to be proceeding smoothly in my opinion. Some have stated their intention to challenge him. They have the legal right to do so. But we must not give the impression that Kurt has failed. Kurt, I believe, is the best person,” he said.
”When you examine this administration, you will see that it has accomplished a great deal. Football was halted at some point. Things went south after the Anas revelation. The normalisation committee also did little because it lacked football administration experience. COVID-19 was also present. However, following Kurt’s election, some changes occurred. All of our local leagues, including the women’s league, are sponsored.”
