It was time to reward my sacrifices and support for the success of the NPP – Bawumia to delegates

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has told New Patriotic Party delegates in the Ashanti region that he deserved to be recognised for his contributions to the party.

He stated that a political party is a collective operation that requires the support of individual members, and as such, he has contributed to the party’s efforts since 2008.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia believes that no single person can take credit for the success of a new patriotic party.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia made this known during a meeting with the NPP’s Subin constituency executives at Prempeh Assembly Hall in Kumasi as part of his 10-day campaign tour in the Ashanti region.

He took advantage of the occasion to ask the delegates to support him strongly in the forthcoming presidential primary.

“You’re all aware that every single person supports the political party.” From polling station executives to party members. You provide your resources, time, strength, and everything else you have to the party.

It is a collective effort. Some people have died as a result of the political party, while others have been injured. Because of their political affiliation, several have been attacked with acid.

As a result, everyone supports the party (NPP). I have also backed the party. I’ve been sacrificing for the party since 2008, and especially since 2012. But I’m not the sort to brag about myself. I backed all 275 of the party’s parliamentary candidates in the 2020 elections. Did I not support you as polling station executives when you ran for office last year? Didn’t I also back the electoral area coordinators? Is it true that I did not support the constituency executives? I remembered and supported you, so it was time for you to do the same for me. I am now paying for your membership cards. Every single individual here has been paid for by me. I’ve gone from polling station to national.”
