Chief Executive Officer of Ghanaian international Marketing Communications and Entertainment Solutions Company, Akwaaba UK, organizers of the most sought-after business events in the United Kingdom, Expo Ghana and the popular music festival, Ghana Party in the Park, has described the 2023 edition as excellent.
Mr. Dennis Tawiah told Rainbow Radio UK’s Adwoa Saah that the first edition was ”okay”, but the 20233 edition has been ”excellent”.
The company’s focus, according to the business expert and marketing professional, has always been to put together the biggest and best international events across Europe for the African community and beyond.
The event he said creates a platform for Ghanaian and UK businesses to engage and explore possibilities for partnerships and building synergies.
He said the expo is a platform for Ghanaians in the diaspora to ”know a little bit more about Ghana, how to do business in Ghana, how to go about doing business in Ghana, and we need to know more about import and export. By organising this export in the UK, it allows us to speak to various speakers and companies, tell more, and ask questions”.
He continued, “The goal for 2023 is to make the event bigger, and better, and provide patrons with an extraordinary experience compared to last year.”
He promised that they would build on last year’s accomplishments this year in order to improve upon the upcoming events.
He urged Ghanaians in the diaspora to believe in Ghana because it is a beautiful country with great potential, and the negative perceptions of the country that exist abroad must change.
He commended the British High Commission in Accra, D-Vision Management, Ghana High Commission, the United Kingdom and the Ghana Investment Promotions Centre (GIPC) for their support and partnership.
The event started on the 13th and will end on the 15th of July 2023.
Sponsors of the 2023 Expo Ghana and Ghana Party in the Park include Fidelity Bank, Stanbic Bank, WorldRemit, Mukuru Money Transfer, Supermalt, AirMaroc, Tropical Sun, World Remit, Mukuru, Supermalt, CBG Bank, Lakeside Estate, KGL, GIPC, TapTap Send, Unity Link, Ghana Free Zones Authority, and Ghana Real Estate Developers Association (GREDA).
On Saturday, 15th July 2023, all roads will lead to the Trent Park, Cockfosters Road, in London for the Ghana Party in the Park (GPITP) festival, known to be the biggest Ghanaian event outside the country. About 8,000 people from across the United Kingdom, Europe, United States of America and the Caribbean are expected to attend.
