Coach Mohammed Polo has lashed out at the Accra Hearts of Oak management.
He claimed that the club is battling to stay relevant in the Premier League due to the incompetence of the management team.
He stated that, despite Togbe Afede’s efforts, the team is falling short of expectations.
He stated that the team’s problems are numerous, including a lack of a strong coach and talented players.
“The issues confronting Hearts of Accra stem from a lack of quality in the coaching staff, players, and management.” Togbe Afede is investing heavily on the club, but the management is failing to make things right. They cannot find a good coach. They are unable to attract excellent players to play for the club.
It’s a major issue, and we have no idea what they’re doing. They are still unable to find a suitable coach. We’ve also learned that several of the players are quitting the club.”
He went on to say that the club’s supporters are concerned about management because they are inept.
“The supporters are concerned because management is not performing.” It is incompetent, and the club would have no future if proper precautions were not taken. The traditional monarch invests heavily, but the management team fails to deliver. The club is currently in a bad state and is no longer sustainable as we knew it.”
When asked if he would be willing to take over as head coach, he refused, saying, “I am not prepared for that job.” I’m not interested. My current concentration is on discovering, nurturing, and developing talent for our clubs. The local league is in disarray, and we require top players. “I want to develop quality players so that people will come after them.”
He proposed Kasim Mingle as the finest coach to lead Accra Hearts of Oak because he is the only one with the necessary talents and qualities.
However, he was quick to point out that Kassim Mingle is currently working for another.
