A 17-year-old teenager died after being electrocuted in Yellow Container, a Kasoa suburb in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region.
The minor has been identified as Kofi Richard.
Mother of the boy according to reports heard screaming for help at the back of their house.
But upon arriving at the scene, she met the lifeless body of the son.
Oheneba Adamah, who reported the incident on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, said the incident has left the family in shock and sadness.
He revealed that it remains unclear how Kofi Richard was electrocuted.
He was discovered flat on the ground, his body charred.
The body has since been deposited at the morgue.
The Police are currently investigating the matter.
