Reporting on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 92.4 FM, UK, Sir Richy told host Daniel Dadson that the suspect was dating a friend of the deceased, but the relationship ended.
A day before the incident, the suspect is said to have confronted his fiancee.
During the altercation, the deceased and her friend, who dated the suspect, allegedly drenched him in water, mocked him, and left him.
Sir Richy went on to say that the suspect left and returned on Wednesday, confronted the fiancee, pleaded with her, and asked her to reconsider their relationship.
The suspect then snatched the fiancee’s school bag, which she demanded back, but the suspect refused.
Elianee Andam snatched it and took to her heels at this point.
The suspect allegedly pursued her, pulled a knife, and stabbed her multiple times in the back before aiming at her neck.
Elianne pleaded for the suspect not to kill her after falling before the alleged neck stabbing.
”The suspect and another friend confronted the fiancee a day before the incident. The argument heated up, and both parties insulted each other before the deceased and his friend soaked the suspect in water. They mocked him and humiliated him as a result. So, on Wednesday, the suspect confronted the fiancee again, took her school bag, and refused to hand it over. Elianne grabbed the bag and fled because they were late for school. But the suspect pursued her, stabbed her multiple times in the back, and then aimed at her neck. ”Elianne begged him not to kill her, but he allegedly stabbed her in the neck,” Sir Richy narrated.
