Kennedy Agyapong, a flagbearer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has warned people he says are intimidating him and his supporters to stay off or face his wrath.
He has also asked supporters of fellow aspirants to conduct clean campaigns or risk an escalation of the unclean type they are currently pursuing.
He warned during a campaign stop in the Ashanti Region after the ‘Showdown Walk’.
According to him, he was not like Alan Kyerematen, who was intimidated and had to resign from the NPP and contest as an independent candidate.
He has threatened to face anyone squarely should they attempt to intimidate him and his followers.
“I am not Alan, who is so gentle. Let them try, and they will see what will happen. That hooliganism they are exhibiting at the National Council: when Alan complained, he was insulted. When Boakye Agyarko complained, he was also insulted. I have also complained, and I am being insulted. But I am not gentle like Alan. They should try and see,” he warned.
He also pledged to put his life on the line and ensure that the country is protected.
He said his interest is to provide hope for Ghanaians, especially the youth.
