Ghana Football Association (GFA) Spokesperson Henry Asante Twum has confirmed that FIFA’s representative for the forthcoming Elective Congress of the Ghana Football Association, Amaju Malvin Pinnick, has left Ghana.
According to Henry Asante Twum, FIFA Executive Council Member Amaju Malvin Pinnic was sent by FIFA just to report on grounds ahead of the election and not to observe the main elections.
“Yes, it is true. Amaju Pinnick has left the country; he was sent to observe the grounds before the elections and report to FIFA.
“Main delegations led by Director of Member Associations for Africa at FIFA, Gelson Fernandez, have arrived in Ghana for the main elections,” he added.
The team, which has already been assisting the GFA Elections Committee, will have final engagements while in Ghana before the Congress on October 5 in Temale.
