The Black Stars of Ghana has arrived in Nashville, Tennessee, from Minneapolis, Minnesota, where they played their first October friendly game against Mexico.
Ghana on Saturday, October 14, 2023, played as visitors to Mexico in an international friendly game at the Bank of America Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where they lost 2-0 with goals from Hirving Lozano and Uriel Antuna.
The Black Stars team led by head coach Chris Hughton and officials of the Ghana Football Association arrived in Nashville, Tennessee, on the morning of Monday, October 16, 2023.
The team will, however, play the game against the USA without defender Joseph Aidoo, who leaves for Spain after suffering an injury in the game against Mexico on Saturday, October 14, 2023.
In Joseph Aidoo’s absence, Medeama SC defender Abdul Hamidu Fatawu has reported to the team’s camp ahead of the game on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at the GEODIS Park.
