Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC have arrived in Ghana after their trip to the United States of America for a friendly game against DC United.
Medeama arrived at Kotoka International Airport in the afternoon of Monday, October 16, 2023.
The Ghana Premier League champions were beaten 2-1 at Audi Field in Washington.
DC United started the game strongly with their fan base behind them, and they took the lead before the 15th-minute mark through Dájo Pines and ended the first half with an advantage.
Medeama returned for the second half poised to get the equaliser, and they got it in the 53rd minute when Nurudeen Abdulai pulled the trigger.
The Ghanaians didn’t enjoy their equaliser for long as Nigel Robertha restored the lead for the host, who held on to win 2-1.
