The Black Stars of Ghana have maintained their place on the FIFA Coca-Cola rankings despite suffering two heavy defeats in the October international friendly games.
Ghana maintained its 60th position globally while being ranked the 11th-best team amongst the 54 countries that play under the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The Black Stars in October played two international friendly games against Mexico and the United Stars of America.
Ghana lost 2-0 to Mexico on October 15 before being humiliated 4-0 by the high-flying United States of America team on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.
The Black Stars will play two games in November against Comoros and Madagascar in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, and good results might change their rankings in the next one.
