We’re going witness radicalism from the youth this year if things don’t change – Apostle

Founder and leader of Victory in His Presence, Sancturay, Apostle Godfred Hackman Oquaye, has asked politicians, particularly those in leadership, to prioritise youth development this year.

The man of God revealed that the youth in Ghana will be more radical this year if they don’t see transformation and change in the country.

He noted that several of the youth want opportunities to work and do something with their hands, but they lack those opportunities.

He has therefore advised our leaders to put measures in place to address these challenges.

He was speaking on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5 fm.

He said any political party that focuses on young people will have an upper hand in leading this country.

“The young people are ready to do something with their hands. They want skills and training that will sustain them. So as a nation, let’s look at empowering the young people because they are going to be radical this year. The youth will this year be more radical. So no political party or the government should think that they can take them for granted.

The radicality I talk about is not related to violence. A lot of the youth are now wise, and so they will be more radical this year. They are going to march with vision and not ignorance. We have to give them something they can depend on for a long time.”

When asked if we would witness a lot of positive defiance by the youth, he said, “I wouldn’t say positive defiance in that sense. But I will say that we will see a lot of change in young people.

A lot of politicians would want to use the young people, but the young people will turn against them. If the politicians want to use them for evil things, they will turn against them. This is what I see and our politicians should be careful.”
