President Akufo-Addo has disclosed that the government has secured an alternative funding source for the reconstruction of the La General Hospital project.
The President revealed this when he delivered his State the Nations Address in Parliament on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.
According to the president, the project will undergo a remarkable transformation.
He stated that the new funding source will allow the facility which was demolished several years ago reconstructed and equipped as a fully functional modern healthcare facility,.
It would also come with the latest diagnostic and treatment equipment.
The President emphasized the government’s unwavering commitment to enhancing healthcare infrastructure and services nationwide.
