The presidential candidate of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has assured members of the party that he is prepared to lead them towards victory in 2024.
The Vice President said the victory of the NPP was assured following what he described as transformative policies.
He indicated that he was prepared to lead an effective campaign towards victory in December, by the grace of God.
Dr. Bawumia made the remarks while addressing the International Conference of the New Patriotic in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The event was attended by the party’s branches in the Diaspora.
“With our superior record and transformative policies for the progress of our country, I assured the Conference of my readiness to lead an effective campaign towards victory in December, by the grace of God.”
He also described the international branches as important components of the NPP, and they have always played key roles in the success of the party, he added.

Earlier today, in Johannesburg, South Africa, I addressed the International Conference of the New Patriotic Party (NPP: Development in Freedom), which was graced by the party’s branches in the Diaspora.

While reassuring them of my unifying policy of bringing all together, I urged them to also come together and rally support for the party, towards victory in this year’s Presidential and Parliamentary elections, regardless of who they supported during the recent Presidential and Parliamentary primaries.
