The High Court has upheld the National Executive Committee’s decision to indefinitely suspend the General Secretary of the People’s National Convention, Janet Nabla.
Madam Nabla was suspended on August 28, 2021, due to allegations of gross misconduct, insubordination, and incompetence.
She disagreed with the decsion by the party and went to court to seek redress.
However, the court has upheld the decision by the party.
Reacting to this, the party issued a statement on April 8, 2024, the PNC stating that the court’s ruling brings to an end the three-year leadership crisis that has negatively impacted the party.
It said the decision by the court has paved the way for the PNC to restructure and prepare for it’s election of party executives ahewd of the 2024 elections.
