President Akufo-Addo has terminated the appointment of the Director-General ofthe Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT).
This was contained in a letter issued and signed by Executive Secretary to the President Nana Bediatuo Asante.
The letter said the termination of the appointment is effective April 15, 2024, with three (3) months of salary in lieu of notice.
To ensure a smooth transition, he has been asked to hand over and cease to act as the Director-General of the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) no later than the close of business on Monday, April 15, 2024.
He has also been directed to hand over your office to Mr. Kofi Bosompem Osafo-Maafo and proceed to collect any terminal benefits he may be entitled to.
The President thanked him for his service to the nation and extended his best wishes.
