The National Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Salam Mustapha, has maintained that the presidential candidate of the party, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is incorruptible.
He claimed that Dr. Bawumia surpasses former president John Dramani Mahama in any anti-corruption assessment.
He said Dr. Bawumia has no association with corruption allegations as both a technocrat and a politician.
He also indicated that the same cannot be said of the NDC’s candidate.
He has therefore challenged anyone who alleges corruption against Dr. Bawumia to provide evidence.
He made the remarks during an interview in the Ashanti Region as part of Mustapha’s National Youth Campaign tour of the region.
The tour forms part of efforts to engage the NPP Youth Wing in preparation for the upcoming limited voter registration exercise organized by the Electoral Commission.
It is aimed at rallying the youth of the region to support the NPP government in their pursuit of the “break the 8 agenda.”
