Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has today, Wednesday, April 24, 2024, paid a working visit to the Vatican.
He had the honour and privilege to meet with His Holiness Pope Francis.
In a Facebook post, the Vice President said the meeting afforded him an opportunity to discuss many national and global issues with Pope Francis.
It also allowed him to strengthen Ghana’s longstanding relationship with the Vatican State and the Pope.
He further held a meeting with the Vatican Secretary for Relations with States and International Organisations, H.E. Paul Richard Gallagher, and Ghana’s pride, Cardinal Peter Appiah Turkson, who was kind enough to show me around the Vatican.
