A man believed to be in his thirties has allegedly committed suicide in Kasoa.
The young man identified as Nana Yaw is said to have committed suicide after a young lady he supported financially broke up with him.
Reporting the incident on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, Adams Habiibi said the man claimed to have spent several amounts of money on the lady with the hope of marrying her.
However, the lady in question is said to have left the man and relocated to Kumasi.
She also went along with their 15-year-old son.
According to reports, the woman ended her relationship with him because he was no longer able to take care of her.
Despite his best efforts to provide for their family, his income was not enough for her, and she couldn’t bear the financial struggle any longer. Therefore, she decided to leave him, the reporter added.
The deceased was a driver.
The body has been recovered and placed at the mortuary while the police are investigating the matter.
