The request by reckless NADAA to vote for his dangerous mate is to protect their corruption, reckless borrowing, galamsey – MP

May 9, 2024
Bawumia-sad

Member of Parliament for Builsa South, Dr. Clement Apaak, has clapped back at President Akufo-Addo for asking Ghanaians not to vote for former President John Dramani Mahama since he (Mahama) will destroy his legacy.

Dr. Apaak, in his response, slammed the president for the comments, stressing that there is no legacy left by the president since his record is nothing to write home about.
President Akufo-Addo has asked Ghanaians to vote for Dr. Bawumia in the upcoming general elections.

Speaking at a mini-rally in Doboro, he said a vote for Mahama would destroy his legacy.

“I cannot hand it over to the man I defeated or to someone who does not appreciate what I have done or my legacies. I cannot hand it over to such an individual. If Mahama is elected, he will destroy my legacies. I am therefore pleading with you to vote for the person I have worked with for the past seven and a half years. I have faith in him, and I know that he will come and continue the work I have begun. He will work in your interests. You will benefit from whatever he does. He is Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.”

“This is our election year, and the limited registration has started. Anyone who hasn’t registered and is eligible should go and register. This is because your right to vote is your power,” he said on Tuesday, May 7.
Dr. Apaak stated categorically that a vote for Dr. Bawumia is a vote to protect the legacy of economic mismanagement, galamsey, and misgovernance.

In a tweet on X, the lawmaker said that miataining Dr. Bawumia is a vote to maintain the barefaced corruption, reckless borrowing, and all the other evils of the NPP.

He said Dr. Bawumia has proven through his own words, that he is a dangerous mate annointed by a reckless driver.

He added that when the Vice President becomes president, he will take orders from his boss, and they will continue to unleash their evils on Ghanaians.

He has therefore admonished Ghanaians to vote massively for John Dramani Mahama so he would come and dismantle the dispecable legacy of President Akufo-Addo.

“A vote for DMB is a vote to protect and continue NADAA’S legacy of: misgovernance; economic mismanagement, barefaced corruption; reckless borrowing, galamsey among others. Reject the dangerous mate anointed by the reckless driver. NADAA’S own recent statements suggest that DMB [mate] is not a man of his own and will continue taking orders from NADAA [driver]. Vote for JM to dismantle NADAA’S despicable legacy and to hold its architects to account. Vote for change and accountability.”
