Two siblings have been detained for reportedly burning down their home in Abuakwa Manhyia, Ashanti Region.
According to reports, the incident resulted in their mother’s death.
The siblings are said to be psychologically unstable.
Reports reaching Rainbowradioonline.com revealed that the brothers got into a fight with their grandmother, threatened to burn her alive, and set fire to the house while their mother was inside.
The grandmother reported the threat to the police, but while she was away, the brothers allegedly set fire to the house.
The fire completely destroyed the house, and the mother’s burnt body was transported to the mortuary.
The police have opened an investigation into the event.
