Kwaku Agyeman Manu has failed woefully as our MP; he must be booted out – NDC

The Deputy Communications Officer for the National Democratic Congress in Dormaa Central constituency, Madam Hagar Nketia, says it was time for constituents to vote out “incompetent” Kwaku Agyemang Manu, the incumbent MP.

She lamented that the former health minister has failed the people and has not demonstrated leadership as he promised.

To her, the MP has underperformed for over the 16 years he has been in parliament.

She asserted that although the MP got the opportunity to be appointed a health minister, he could not use his position to lobby for projects in the area.

Madam Hagar Nketia gave the Dormaa Central MP 40 out of 100 percent in terms of his performance and contributions towards the development of the Dormaa Central constituency.

“The former health minister has done what he could, but his best is not enough. I will score him 40 percent out of 100 percent. He has been in parliament for several years, but he has failed the people. If we retain him as the MP, we will fall behind. The work he has not done is 60 percent. As a former health minister, I believe we should not lack basic projects like the CHPS Compound. But he could not do that.

For 16 years as an MP, if his efforts towards this constituency are little and nothing to write home about, then we should bring in a new person who is younger, more competent, and most importantly, a people’s person. He is also not fit. He is older than our candidate. We need a stronger and healthier person to represent the constituency.”

She therefore appealed to the constituents to vote massively for the parliamentary candidate for the NDC, saying he was far better and would deliver on veteran leadership for the people.

According to her, the NDC’s candidate, John Kwame Adu Jack, has contributed a lot to the development of Dormaa Ahenkro and its surrounding communities, which includes the building of human resources and capacity through the creation of employment and other physical developmental projects with the help of the then COCOBOD CEO, Dr. Opuni, and other NDC stalwarts in Dormaa Central.

“Before the NDC left power in 2016, we accomplished a lot for Dormaaman. Even while he wasn’t the MP, he spearheaded various initiatives and made significant contributions to the area’s development. As a result, we will sell him in such a way that people will admire and vote for him in large numbers. We’ll sell his accomplishments so that people know about him. “We have a better chance of winning the seat.”
