The Speaker of Parliament of Ghana, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin has congratulated Hon. Francis-Xavier Sosu (Esq), the Member of Parliament of Madina Constituency for winning the Most Outstanding Member of Parliament across Africa when it comes to championing Human Rights.
The Speaker commended the MP for making the Parliament of Ghana proud when Hon. Sosu presented the Awards to the Speaker at his office on Thursday 6th June, 2024.
The award was conferred by the Business Executive during the 3rd Edition of the AFRICA PUBLIC SECTOR OPTIMUM AWARDS (APSO) held at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel , Adaekese Hall on Wednesday, 5th June, 2024.
Hon. Sosu dedicated the awards to the Parliament of Republic of Ghana, the Speaker of Parliament and the people of Madina Constituency who according to him gave him opportunity to serve.
The Speaker in his remarks said: “Congratulations to Hon Francis Xavier Sosu for picking you as a CHAMPION OF HUMAN RIGHTS AND LEGAL ADVOCACY through the several bills initiated in the 8th Parliament for the protection of the poor and marginalized.
