The Municipal Chief Executive of the Ga West Municipal Assembly, Clement Wilkinson, has predicted a one-touch victory for the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
The MCE was optimistic that the Vice President will break the eight-year jinx for the elephant family and continue with the sterling achievements of the Nana Addo-led administration.
Clement Wilkinson proclaimed that by 7:00 p.m. on December 7, 2024, the victor of the 2024 presidential election would be determined.
The MCE stated unequivocally that the second gentleman of the country will win the elections with more than 53% of all legitimate ballots cast.
Appearing on Frontlines on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, he indicated that the victory of the NPP is signed and sealed, and nothing can change it.
“By 7:00 p.m. on election day, we would know who had won, and it would be Dr. Bawumia.” The 2024 federal elections will not have a run-off. It’ll never happen. The NPP and Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia will achieve a one-touch victory.”
He told host Kwabena Agyapong that there is no doubt about the NPP’s victory, but they must put in the effort to guarantee that it is clear and uncontested.
“I repeat, Dr. Bawumia will win the elections with more than 51%. I am not referring to the plus-one vote. He will win more than 53% of the vote and become the country’s next president. We’ve already broken the eight-year jinx, but it took a lot of effort.”
