Mahama is a nation-builder, sincere, and not a liar; vote massively for him – NDC Trobu PC

Dr. John Halm Kofi Halm, the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) parliamentary candidate in the Trobu constituency, has made a strong case for former President John Dramani Mahama, emphasising the need of Ghanaians voting massively for him in the upcoming December 7 general elections.

The physician averred that the former president has a positive track record, which sets him apart from Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Kwabena Agyapong on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, Dr. Halm described Mr. Mahama as a sincere politician who will not take Ghanaians for granted.

He stated that the NDC candidate is not only truthful, but also a national builder, trustworthy, and not a liar.

He indicated that this government has lied to Ghanaians and failed to deliver on their promises.

He bemoaned that Ghanaians had high hopes for President Akufo-Addo and his vice president, but they had let them down after promising them heaven on earth.

The 2024 general elections provide an opportunity for voters to vote out the NPP and elect John Dramani Mahama.

“I believe in John Dramani Mahama because, personally, I believe infrastructure. He is somebody who believes in infrastructure, and that is why he managed to invest heavily in infrastructure. He borrowed less and yet invested heavily in infrastructure. This administration has failed to expand infrastructure. Mahama is a nation-builder, and he is very humble. He is also sincere. He does not peddle lies. If John Mahama promises to deliver, he delivers. I don’t know why, but I think it is a trait of the Johns. We saw that under the late Rawlings and Atta Mills. We also saw the same under John Kufour. I am also a John; when the Johns promise, they deliver.”

He also stressed the need for his constituency to vote for him as the next MP.

“This is a call to action.” I will encourage Ghanaians, particularly those in Trobu, to stand up and demand the truth. Leadership is extremely important to the God who made us. Leadership is not something to joke about. We need to put the constituency in the hands of someone who is both competent and unifying. Keep in mind that this election is not a joke. We need a hardworking individual, not one who is campaigning on tribal lines. That is why I am asking you to consider me as your next MP to represent you in Parliament.

As you vote for me, vote also for former President John Dramani Mahama. He has a solid record and achieved a lot when he was in power. If he is given another opportunity, he will pursue it again. He was the one who secured the funding for the ongoing Pokuase interchange project. I believe if the NDC was in power, the project would have been completed.

He has done it before and will do it again. I am admonishing the voters in Trobu and in Ghana to vote massively for the NDC.”
