Apraku and others want NPP to go into opposition so they can rescue it from the ‘goro boys’ – NDC UK

Mr. Conrad Dumbah, Chairman of the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) UK and Ireland Chapter, stated that the present generation of New Patriotic Party leaders has hijacked and ruined the party, extending it throughout the country.

He said that unlike former President John Agyekum Kufour and his peers, who were respected for their dedicated leadership, the current crop of leaders, including President Akufo-Addo, have messed up the country and their party.

‘For this reason, the likes of Nana Ohene Ntow and Alan Kyerematen resigned from the party. That was the reason why Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe warned Ghanaians that this current crop of NPP leaders was bad news for the country,’ he claimed.

Speaking to Dr. Ren on Rainbow Radio 92.4FM in the United Kingdom, he opined that “in the past, when the NPP personalities spoke, you would realise that the NPP had men who had alternative ideas.

But today, the men we have on the NPP are ‘goro boys’. They have no class or competence and lack what it takes to represent the country and the party.”

He said that the true men who love the party and have the country at heart are patiently waiting for the party to go into opposition, so they will take back the party and restore it to its true ideology and lost glory.

“Most of them have waited and realised that the NPP they have today is bad news. Those who have remained and the eminent ones, including the likes of Dr. Konadu Apraku and the others, are quietly praying that they (the NPP) will go into opposition so they can rescue or take their party back. These ‘goro boys’ that are here are only interested in wrecking and stealing from Ghana. They have no interest in developing the country. There is not a single thing you can point to that this government has done. They have messed up the education system,” he said.

He added “the true NPP and those who care about Ghana are not happy about what is happening to the party and Ghana. Ghana must change, and Ghana will change. Whether they like it or not, Ghana will change. The NDC is happy to work with anyone who cares about Ghana. Whether you are a proper NPP and you care about Ghana, if you are CPP, APC, or whatever you are, if is about Ghana first?”
