The National Service Scheme (NSS) says it has released arrears for April.
This was contained in a statement issued by the NSS following a strike declaration by personnel of the scheme.
The statement said the allowances for May are also expected to be paid shortly after the April fund is reflected.
It has therefore urged personnel to remain calm as outstanding issues are being resolved.
The Concerned National Service Scheme (NSS) Personnel Association of Ghana (CONSPAG) declared a nationwide strike today, July 3, 2024.
The Association cited unpaid allowances, which they claimed were affecting their livelihoods.
The National Executive Council of the National Service Personnel Association, in a statement, disclosed that the Secretariat has released payment for April and expects it to reflect in personnel accounts on July 5, 2024.
