Suspended Assin Central Constituency Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Central Region, Sadique Broni Yeboah, has issued a three-day ultimatum to the party to reverse his suspension.
He has threatened the party with legal action if they fail to withdraw his suspension.
Mr. Yeboah was suspended together with the Assin Central Regional Chairman, Prof. Richard Kofi Asiedu, for their role in suspending the constituency’s parliamentary candidate, Nurein Shiabu Migyimah.
In a letter addressed to the General Secretary, Fifi Kwetey, lawyers for the Constituency Secretary, Sadique Broni Yeboah, asked the party to reverse its decision to suspend him.
“We have the instructions of our client to demand from you the withdrawal of his suspension forthwith within 3 days and give him a fair hearing if you find it meets so to do.”
“Be informed that we have received strict and unqualified instructions from our client to take legal action against you in the event that you default in that regard,” portions of the letter said.
