Former Kwadaso Constituency Member of Parliament, Mr. Samiu Kwadwo Nuamah, has expressed confidence in Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh.
He believes the two are competent and will complement each other should Ghanaians vote for the NPP in the upcoming December 7 general elections.
He noted that the massive support that the former Education Minister has received since he was announced as his running mate has affirmed that he is loved and a grassroots person.
Speaking to Rainbow Radio’s Abdul Malik Anokye in Kumasi ahead of the official outdooring of the running mate, he said NAPO is a man with exceptional skills and has demonstrated competence in whatever he did.
He opined that “NAPO is exceptionally brilliant. He succeeded at whatever job he was given. As the Education Minister, he successfully implemented the free SHS policy. We can boast about the free SHS because NAPO competently managed it well while at the Education Ministry. At the Energy Ministry, he has managed the issues of energy so well that, for years, we never experienced dumsor.
The ones we recorded recently have been resolved. He is competent, and so if he has been selected as a running mate, we have to support him. We support him. Kumasi and Ghana are solidly behind him. With him supporting Bawumia, the NPP will be able to break the eight-year jinx,” he said.
