The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Benard Antwi Bosiako, aka Chairman Wontumi, has extended a message to the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) that the elephant family is united for victory in 2024.
Delivering a message at the official outdooring ceremony of running mate Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, he said the NPP is poised for victory.
He claimed that the elephant family has one million ways to win the upcoming December elections.
He warned that they will not allow what happened in 2008, which saw the NPP go into opposition after the tenure of former President John Agyekum Kufour ended, to repeat itself.
“We are going to win the upcoming elections. All the regional chairman will be going back to our polling stations and organising serious campaigns. We will be moving from house to house and campaigning. The NPP knows how to win the elections. We have one million ways of winning the elections. As 16 regional chairman, we are the campaign managers.
We have to protect the achievements of President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. They have successfully implemented the free SHS policy. We have to protect these gains. As regional chairman, we are going back to our polling stations and organising house-to-house campaigns. We cannot disappoint Ghanaians. So we are using these people to send a signal to the NDC that we are united and know how to win an election.”
