The presidential candidate of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has described his running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, as a problem solver, knowledgeable, and generational thinker.
Addressing supporters of the NPP at the unveiling of the Manhyia South Lawmaker as his running mate in Kumasi on Tuesday, July 9, Dr. Bawumia said, “Napo is knowledgeable; I have high respect for him; he is a is a problem solver; he is a generational thinker.
He told the gathering that as a pair, the two can work together to deliver exceptional leadership and provide bold solutions to the people of Ghana.
“Our ticket is full of generational thinkers,” he declared.
Dr. Bawumia admitted that Ghana was facing challenges, but when you put our record against John Mahama’s record, our record is superior, and we will challenge them to provide their record in every sector.
He announced his desire to bring a new vision to transforming the country and build on the record of President Akufo-Addo.
To achieve this, he toured Dr. Opoku Prempeh as a man with the needed skills to support his vision of making Ghana better.
