Bismarck Boateng, Ayawaso Central New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman, has made a strong case for Member of Parliament (MP) Henry Quartey.
He has appealed to constituents to vote to retain him as their MP in the upcoming December 7, 2024, parliamenatry election.
According to him, the MP has demonstrated leadership, done a lot for the constituency, and will do much more if he is retained.
Appearing on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, he described the MP, who is now the Interior Minister, as a distinguished MP who deserves an opportunity to serve in the Legislative House.
“Henry Quartey has done a lot for the constituency. That is why I am appealing to my constituents to vote massively in favour of him. I am optimistic that if we retain him as MP, he will do much more if the NPP breaks the eight-year jinx.”
He also underscored the need for voters to vote for the presidential candidate of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, as president.
He stressed that Dr. Bawumia is a suitable alternative to replace President Akufo-Addo.
To him, the current President has laid a foundation on which Dr. Bawumia will build on and deliver a leadership of service, accountable leadership, and better opportunities for all.
