Agyapadie document is fake and a diabolic attempt to destroy us – Okyenhene

Osagyefo Amotia Ofori Panyin has debunked assertions that he was behind the ‘Agyapadie’ document.

The traditional ruler referred to the document as fiction meant to create and fan a hate campaign against the Ofori Panin household and Okyeman.

He wondered why he would have his picture on the front page of a document meant to collect, loot, and share.

At the Akyem Abuakwa State Council meeting, Okyenhene urged his kin and Ghanaians to treat a book with contempt, questioning who in their right mind would have such intentions and documenting it with their image as a cover page.

“We witnessed this throughout J.B Danquah’s tenure, and we are experiencing it now. Around October 2016, a few months before the election, the same paper known as the ‘Akyem Project’ circulated. The goal was to incite hostility between Okyeman and Asanteman in order to weaken Nana Akufo-Addo’s political campaign. Unfortunately for them, it was too late for the election.

“This diabolic scheme was changed in 2019. When the Agyapa business became a political issue in 2020, the book changed its name to ‘Agyapadie’.”
