The LPG Marketing Association of Ghana says it has ceased doing business with Quantum and Blue Ocean depots in Tema.
A statement issued by the association said it will continue doing business with all other BDC’s with stocks at these two depots until the close of business on Friday, August 9, 2024.
The Association explained that the decision will take effect on August 12, 2024, when they will cease and desist from doing business with Tema Quantum and Blue Ocean.
Addressed to the Chairman of the Gas Tankers Association, LPG Marketing Association Chairman Mallam Bukari Amadu said members of the Tankers Association are strictly entreated not to honour any invitations or orders to load from the two depots mentioned above.
“Your maximum cooperation is urgently needed as we begin to embark on a series of measures aimed at protecting indigenous businesses, saving over ten thousand (10,000) Ghanaian jobs, and ultimately protecting over $400 million in investments made by local Ghanaians over the past thirty (30) years against foreign aggression.”
