Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has once again had a debate over the performance of President Akufo-Addo.
He claims that no government in Ghana’s history has performed better than President Akufo-Addo.
Speaking at the official launch of the Ashanti Regional NPP Campaign Working Committees and Women’s Conference in Kumasi, Dr. Prempeh admonished party supporters to work hard to secure victory for Dr. Bawumia.
“No administration has governed the country and started work on 111 hospitals. No government in this country has built as many schools as Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. “No government has established universities as Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has.”
“No government has employed nurses and doctors over 200, 000 like Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and no government has employed teachers like Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and no government has experienced this intense hunger, pandemic and given out free food, light and water like Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government.”
Nana Addo has increased the LEAP program for the poor by three times, benefiting approximately 300,000 individuals.Don’t get me wrong, but I say this because I know Dr. Bawumia will accomplish more than Nana Addo if elected President. So, I need to congratulate Nana Addo before Br Bawumia arrives,” he said.
