The family of Nhyira Marfo Okyere, a member of Team Eternity Ghana who recently passed away, has asked the public to respect their privacy and stop spreading false narratives about the cause of the death of the late musician.
The family, in a statement, asked bloggers and social media users to stop spreading their assertions that the late musician was poisoned.
The statement, which was signed by Abusuapanyin Eric Agyei Mante, said the cause of the death has not been established.
Abusuapanyin According to Eric Agyei Mante, certain speculations circulating on social media regarding the cause of Nhyira’s death, including claims of poisoning and other unsubstantiated rumours, are completely untrue and unfounded.
“The cause of Nhyira’s death has not been ascertained yet, and we urge everyone to refrain from spreading false and harmful information,” he stated.
The family appeals to bloggers and social media users to respect their privacy and wait for official confirmation from the relevant authorities before sharing any information.
He also noted that they are deeply distressed by the spread of these false rumours and the harm they are causing to their family and loved ones. They therefore appeal to everyone to be responsible and respectful in their communication.
