One person has died on the spot in a tragic accident at Samreboi in the Wassa Amenfi West District of the Western Region.
Two others have also sustained serious injuries following the accident.
The accident occurred in the early hours of Thursday, August 22, 2024, right opposite a Roman Catholic Church in Samreboi.
Details emerging indicate that the accident involved two motorcycles and a tipper truck.
The rider (now deceased) identified as Osman Idris, according to eyewitnesses, was riding one of the motorcycles and attempted to overtake the tipper truck, which was filled with sand.
He, however, collided with another motorcycle, which then went under the truck.
The truck ran over him, leading to his death.

He was reportedly sent from his work site to buy gasoline when the accident occurred.
The two injured individuals were transported to Samartex Hospital for treatment by emergency care personnel.
