The Blackstars of Ghana lost its 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier game against Angola.
The team lost 1-0 to Angola at home on Thursday (September 5, 2024) evening.
The late goal from the Angola team was scored by Milson a few minutes later to end the game.
Milson scored the game-winning goal in the 95th minute, just as it appeared that the match might end in a draw.
This is the first time Ghana is losing a game at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in 24 years.
The team has also never exited the AFCON without scoring a goal until 2021.
The team will be preparing for their game against Niger on Monday, September 9, 2024.
