The presidential candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has admonished party supporters to avoid voting “skirt and blouse” in the upcoming December elections.
He stated that voting for him and all parliamentary aspirants will ensure a unified government.
He said this at a mini rally at Twimia Nkwanta in the Bono East Region.
The former President indicated that electing NDC parliamentary candidates alongside the presidential candidate is essential for securing a majority in Parliament.
“We did not win the previous election because of disunity. I have also heard that most of you would vote ‘skirt and blouse.’ I plead with you all to vote for the PC and me. We need development in Techiman South.”
