The New Patriotic Party (NPP) for Weija Gbawe, Jerry Ahmed, has declared that his victory in the 2024 parliamentary election will be by a wide margin.
He noted that he was not in the contest to play, but he was in the race to ensure that he defeats the opposition by a wide margin of the valid votes cast.
The private legal practitioner indicated that he is not contesting this election under some sort of complacency.
He said while he is on the ground campaigning for votes, his opponent is sleeping and dreaming of victory.
To his supporters, he advised them to avoid the politics of insults, be good politicians, and depart from the immoral behaviour of the NDC of insulting their political opponents.
He underscored the need for his supporters to reach out to every voter by appealing to them to understand that the NPP needs their vote.
The aspirant said he will pretend Ghana has seen the best since hardship was all over the place, but the economic challenges we are experiencing are not only Ghana but a global crisis.
Jerry Ahmed asked the party supporters and communicators to take their time and explain the policies of the NPP, what they have achieved so far, and what they will do more if retained in the 2024 general elections.
He was optimistic of victory, stressing the need for the NPP members to come out in their numbers and campaign massively for the NPP.
‘’Let us go out there and let the people understand that you can give a resounding victory. Go out there and campaign for the good works of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. You know what he is capable of,’’ he added.
