Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has reaffirmed that former President John Dramani Mahama lacks plans for transforming the country if elected president.
The presidential candidate of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) declared that the NDC’s nominee has been unable to generate any ideas in nearly seven years of opposition.
He pitched himself as a better candidate and capable of managing the country’s affairs if elected in the next general elections.
Addressing party supporters in Accra, he argued a vote for the NPP will lead to prosperity for all Ghanaians.
He again criticised Mr. Mahama’s 24-hour economy questioning its effectiveness to Ghana’s transformation.
He said the NPP has bold solutions that will help transform Ghana hence the voters must consider him as the better alternative.
”This election presents a choice between progressing into the future or reverting to the past. Our vision is centered on forging a path forward, emphasizing job creation, digital advancement, and prosperity for Ghana. Conversely, the former President lacks innovative ideas, instead advocating for outdated practices and entertainment-focused initiatives. We are committed to pioneering a new direction, prioritizing youth employment opportunities.”
